BATHTUB REFINISHING

What is bathtub refinishing?

Bathtub refinishing, also called reglazing or resurfacing, gives a worn tub a smooth, glossy new surface while the tub stays in place. Instead of removing the tub, breaking tile and redoing plumbing, we repair the existing surface, prepare it carefully and apply a new finish.

Narbra Maintenance Inc is a family-owned business that has been refinishing bathtubs in Central Florida since 2018. We work in owner-occupied homes as well as rentals, apartments and vacation homes, where a clean, bright tub makes a big difference to tenants and guests.

Signs you may need it

  • Stains or discoloration that no longer come out with cleaning
  • A dull, rough or porous surface that is hard to keep clean
  • Small chips, scratches or worn spots in the finish
  • An outdated tub color that no longer matches the bathroom
  • A previous coating that is peeling or flaking
  • A rental unit or vacation home that needs to look fresh for the next tenant or guest

Why refinish instead of replace?

  • No demolition: the tub, surrounding tile and plumbing stay where they are
  • Usually costs a fraction of what a full tub replacement does
  • Faster: most bathtub jobs are done in about a day
  • Much less dust, debris and disruption in your home
  • Less downtime for rentals and vacation homes between bookings
HOW IT WORKS

Our process

  1. Free quote: send us a photo of your tub on WhatsApp and tell us what you would like to fix.
  2. Inspection and cleaning: we deep-clean the tub and remove old caulk, soap residue and buildup.
  3. Repairs: chips and worn spots are repaired so the new finish goes on smooth.
  4. Preparation: we mask the surrounding areas and ventilate the bathroom.
  5. New finish: we apply the new coating for an even, glossy surface.
  6. Final touches: we re-caulk where needed and explain how long to wait before using the tub.

Every surface is different, so we always look at your photos first and explain what we recommend before any work starts.
