Bathtub refinishing, also called reglazing or resurfacing, is the process of repairing and preparing the surface of an existing tub and applying a new finish. The tub stays in place, so there is no demolition of tile or plumbing.
In most cases, yes. Refinishing usually costs a fraction of what a full replacement does, because there is no removal, demolition or new fixture to buy. Every job is different, so we give you a free quote based on photos.
Most jobs are done in about a day. The exact time depends on the size of the job, the condition of the surface and how many items we are refinishing.
The new finish needs time to cure before it gets wet. Typically you will need to wait a day or more before using the tub or shower, and we will tell you exactly how long for your job before we leave.

Typically, a refinished surface should be cleaned with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh scrubbing pads and strong chemicals. We will give you care instructions when the job is done.
